Justification
Justification
The term justification means “to be declared righteous, i.e. God’s Righteousness credited to the believer’s account.” It specifically refers to the Christian’s legal status – God’s declaration of acquittal by which he announces the believer ‘not guilty’ because of the substitutionary sacrifice of Christ on the cross. (Romans 4:3,Romans 5:9, 1 Cor 1:30; 2 Cor 5:21, Galatians 2:16 ESV)
