Repentance

Genuine biblical repentance is a change of mind, will and heart that results in a change of action by the power of the Holy Spirit. It is the commitment to turn away from every sin in every area of our lives to follow Jesus, which allows us to receive His redemption and regeneration by the Holy Spirit. When one accepts Christ as their Lord and Savior, they are forgiven of their all their sins as well as regenerated (born again) by the Holy Spirit. Simply put, biblical repentance results in a radical change in one’s behavior. This divine act is solely initiated and carried out by God alone.
