Sanctification
Sanctification is primarily a work of God and was earned for every believer through Christ. It is the ongoing process of actively yielding to both God’s Word and The Holy Spirit in order for Him (God) to make the believer more like Christ. It is through the ministry of the Holy Spirit that the Christian is empowered to live a Spiritually maturing and Godly life. (I Thessalonians 4:3, 5:23, I Corinthians 1:30, II Corinthians 6:11, Romans 6:11-14, 8:29. 12:1,2, Philippians 2:13, Hebrews 12:2, Hebrews 13:20-21 ESV)
