Creation
Gen. 1:1 In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. John 1:3 “all things were made through Him”
Col. 1:16 By Him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible.
1. Men and women were created by God's very hands and received life from God's very breath. (Gen2:7,22)
2. As humans we are the only created things to be made in the Image of God. (Gen. 1:26)
3. The Bible is clear: God created the earth and all that is in it from nothing .( Psalm 33:6,9)
4. The fact that God created the universe out of nothing means it has a purpose and that purpose is to bring glory to Himself.
5. God created the sun, moon, and stars to testify to His greatness and His glory. (Psalm 19:1-2)
6. God created His people for His own glory. (Isa. 43:7) 7. The universe and everything He created was good. (Gen. 1:31)
